The May 1st Day of Action Connects Community Volunteers with Residents to Make a Plan to Get Vaccinated

(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Saturday, May 1 at 11 am, Mayor Bowser and community leaders will canvass neighborhoods across the District to help Washingtonians make a plan to get the free COVID-19 vaccine. May 1 is the first day DC transitions to the use of walk-up sites for all residents 18 and older, and on Saturday, volunteers will support and inform residents on the many ways to get vaccinated.
