Coronavirus Data for May 27, 2021

(Washington, DC) The District’s reported data for Thursday, May 27, 2021 includes 54 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 48,898.

The District reported no additional COVID-19 related deaths.  
 
Tragically, 1,132 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

Guidance has been published for healthcare providers, employers and the public to provide information on what to do if you have been diagnosed with or are a contact of someone who has COVID-19.

Residents are encouraged to get vaccinated at one of our free walk-up vaccination sites located throughout the District. For more information, please visit vaccines.gov.

Beginning this week, daily COVID-19 data will be released Monday through Friday. The COVID-19 data from Saturday and Sunday will be incorporated into the Monday data report. Given the Memorial Day holiday, the next report will be available on Tuesday, June 1.
