Coronavirus Data for January 14-17, 2022

Washington, DC –The District’s reported data for January 14-17, 2022 includes 3,836 new confirmed positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall confirmed positive case total to 125,707. The District also reports 321 new probable tests, bringing the overall positive probable tests since October 15, 2021 to 8,203.
 
 The District reported that five additional residents lost their lives due to COVID-19. 

  • 91-year-old male
  • 67-year-old male
  • 86-year-old female
  • 76-year-old male
  • 62-year-old male

Tragically, 1,260 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

The District currently has 39 intensive care unit (ICU) beds available in hospitals out of 345 total ICU beds.

  • 306 total ICU inpatients
  • 114 COVID-19 positive ICU inpatients
