(Washington, DC) – On Monday, November 24 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will announce the Fiscal Year 2025 awardees of the District’s small business retail grant programs and will also announce new funding opportunities available to businesses through the Great Streets, Locally Made, and Emerging Retail Grant Programs.
The celebration will take place at Atlas Brew Works’ new Bridge District location in Ward 8, which opened with support from the Food Access Fund. The fund, which the Mayor launched in 2021, has issued a total of $23.4 million in grants supporting 30 food-related businesses in Wards 5, 7, and 8. Over the past decade, the Bowser Administration has invested more than $50 million in various grants to support small business growth, job creation, and neighborhood vitality.
