(Washington, DC) – On Wednesday, July 29 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser as well as federal, regional and event partners will host a media briefing to share updates on preparations for the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, taking place August 22 and 23 as part of the nation’s semiquincentennial celebrations.
During the briefing, Mayor Bowser and District officials will provide the latest information on transportation plans, anticipated road closures, parking restrictions, public safety operations and recommendations for traveling throughout the District during race weekend. Officials will also discuss how residents, workers and visitors can stay informed before and during the event.
