(Washington, DC) – On Thursday, July 3, at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will be joined by District public safety officials and federal partners to outline preparations for the upcoming Fourth of July celebrations taking place across Washington, DC.
The briefing will include public safety plans for the Capitol Hill and Palisades parades, the National Park Service fireworks display on the National Mall, and the 3rd Annual Fourth of July in the District concert. Officials will discuss road closures, firework safety tips and reminders about staying safe in extreme heat.
