(Washington, DC) – On Thursday, May 29 at 12 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser and District leaders will provide an update on the District’s preparations for parades, festivals, and celebrations happening in DC over the next several weeks, including WorldPride 2025. WorldPride 2025 kicked off on May 17, with many events taking place over the next few weeks: the WorldPride Opening Ceremony with Shakira at Nationals Park, the WorldPride Music Festival at the RFK Festival Grounds, the WorldPride Street Festival, and the WorldPride Parade. District officials will also provide updates on the Army 250 parade and celebration scheduled for Saturday, June 14, as well as other events happening around the city during the summer months.
