Mayor Bowser to Launch R.E.S.U.L.T.S. Initiative to Streamline and Improve City Services

(Washington, DC) –  On Tuesday, March 17 at 3:30 pm at the Anacostia Arts Center, Mayor Muriel Bowser will launch the Reaching Effective Solutions Using Lasting Tactics and Strategies or the R.E.S.U.L.T.S. Initiative. The initiative is part of the Mayor’s plan to deliver a fresh start for District residents by improving coordination between government agencies, residents, businesses and other community stakeholders.

Mayor Bowser will kick-off the new initiative with a week-long #SpringIntoAction where staff members with the Mayor’s Office of Community Relations and Services (MOCRS) will conduct neighborhood walk-throughs in all eight wards to identify issues that can be immediately resolved. At the end of the week, MOCRS, community leaders and residents will conduct community clean-ups throughout the District on Saturday, March 21.
