Mayor Vincent C. Gray to Launch Fast Trac DC Program Encouraging Small Business Growth

WHAT/WHO: Mayor Vincent C. Gray, Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development Victor Hoskins, Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) Director Harold Pettigrew, and Kauffman Fast Trac President Alana Muller will announce the launch of the Fast Trac DC program to help business owners launch and grow companies in the District.

BACKGROUND:  DSLBD is partnering with Kauffman FastTrac; the Anacostia Economic Development Corporation; the DC Chamber of Commerce, the US Small Business Administration’s Small Business Development Centers; the Washington Area Community Investment Fund; the Washington, DC Economic Partnership; and the Women’s Business Development Center to deliver the FastTrac curriculum to approximately 200 DC entrepreneurs. Kauffman FastTrac entrepreneur courses have been helping business owners launch and grow companies since 1993.
