(WASHINGTON, DC) – Mayor Muriel Bowser, Chief Technology Officer Archana Vemulapalli, and Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins will hold a press conference to highlight a milestone of the Pennsylvania Avenue 2040 (PA 2040) project. The District government, with the Golden Triangle BID and the National Capital Planning Commission, launched the PA 2040 initiative to enhance visitors’ experience on “America’s Main Street” by implementing exciting and practical Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
Mayor Bowser will also be joined by Chuck Robbins, President and CEO of CISCO Systems, Inc., to announce DC as a Cisco ‘Innovation Alliance Partner.’
